Currently employed by IT company Denali Advanced Integration in the Sales & Marketing team. Part of two person digital advertising and marketing team that handles all company advertisements, landing pages, partner campaigns, social media content, graphic design, company branding and event marketing. While working with Denali, I have become skilled in a number of programs: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Wrike Content Management System, Joomla!, Wordpress, partner portals (Cisco, Honeywell, Zebra, Citrix) and Windows Office.

 

My biggest project so far at Denali was the 2nd annual "Denali Dash," which is a 5K run and community event held in Redmond, WA. All proceeds go towards Seattle Children's Hospital, and in October 2015, the event had over 500 attendees and raised $60,000 for Seattle Children's. I was responsible for all pre, live and post promotion through Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. I also designed the t-shirts, water bottles, cinch bags and every sign, banner and sail flag.

DENALI DASH 2015

Annual Community Event

 

 

A 5K run for adults and a 1K kids fun run, all proceeds were donated to Seattle Children's Hospital. The event featured food trucks, a live band, beer garden and a kids zone. The $20 registration fee earned participants access to the race, a shirt, water bottle, cinch bag and free food and drinks. Promotion started in August 2015 on email, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. I handled all the pre-Dash promotion, registration promotion, live coverage and post-Dash coverage on Denali social media and website.

 

The "Denali Dash" was promoted on the Denali Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #DenaliDash, and was also promoted on the Denali LinkedIn. I was in charge of all digital promotion through email, social media and websites. Physical promotions in the form of posters that I designed were put up around Redmond, WA in retail outlets. In addition to digital promotion, I designed and worked with publishers to create over 40 signs (sponsor signs, welcome signs, registration, beer garden, mile markers, posters, etc) for the event. In addition to signage, I designed the t-shirts, water bottles and cinch bags.

 

Notable guests included members of the IT community from VMware, EMC, Cisco and Honeywell, the Seattle Seahawks Blue Thunder Marching Band, the Sea Gals, former Seahawks quarterback Dave Krieg and Director of Seattle Children's Hospital Eve Kopp.
